2. Section 8 of the Entertainment Tax Ordinance is hereby amended as follows :-
| (1) by the insertion, immediately after subsection (2) of that section, of the following new subsection : -
| | " (2A) Where,-
| | | (a) as respects any entertainment to be held within the administrative district of Colombo, the President of the Arts Council of Ceylon established under the Arts Council of Ceylon Act, or |
| (b) as respects any entertainment to be held within any other administrative district, the Government Agent of that administrative district, |

| (2) in subsection (3) of that section, by the substitution, for the expression "subsection (1),", of the expression "subsection (1) or subsection (2A) ,". |
