(1) Where the employment of any employee is terminated on disablement due to accident or disease, the sum standing to the credit of such employee in his individual account shall be payable by the Board to such employee. notwithstanding the proviso to section 23, |

(2) For the purposes of subsection (1), " terminated on disablement" means cessation of employment by reason of a permanent and total incapacity for work and certified by a registered medical practitioner to be unfit for work any longer for that reason. |
