Food And Drugs (Amendment) Act (No. 31 of 1961) - Sect 2

Amendment of section 64 of Chapter 216. [ 2, 3 of 1958.1

2. Section 64 of the Food and Drugs Act is hereby amended as follows : -
(1) in subsection (1) of that section, by the insertion, immediately after the definition of " Food and Drugs Regulations ", of the following new definition : -
(2) in subsection (3) of that section, by the substitution, in paragraph (a) of that subsection, for all the words from " includes " to the end of that paragraph, of the words " includes a registered ayurvedic practitioner within the meaning of that term in the Ayurveda Act, No. 31 of 1961 ; and ".
