Finance Companies Act (No. 78 of 1988) - Sect 39

Penalties

38. Every person who is guilty of an offence under this Act shall be liable on conviction after trial before a Magistrate's Court to imprisonment of either description for a term not exceeding three; years or to a fine cot exceeding one million rupees.
