Fishermen's Pension And Social Security Benefit Scheme Act (No. 23 of 1990) - Sect 9

Partial disablement

9. Any contributor who is permanently and partially disabled before he becomes entitled to receive his pension shall, at his option, receive a disablement gratuity under the Scheme calculated on the prescribed basis and leave the Scheme or remain in the Scheme without paying any further contribution and receive the pension when it be comes due.
