Gramodaya Mandala Fund Act (No. 28 of 1982) - Sect 8

Grants by the Government

8.
(1) As soon as convenient after the date of commencement of this Act, the Government shall make a payment of one million rupees as an initial grant to the Fund.
(2) The Government may, in addition to the initial grant referred to in subsection (1), donate to the Fund from time to time grants for the purpose of carrying out the aims and objects of the Fund.
