3. The general objects for which the Corporation is constituted are hereby declared to be
| (a) to conduct and administer the Vidyalaya as a broad national institution oriented to impart instructions in the indigenous, Sidha and Ayurvedic systems of medicine ; |

| (b) to establish an ayurvedic hospital to train medical students and provide free medical aid to patients; |
|
| (c) to conduct examinations for the purpose of ascertaining the persons who have acquired proficiency in the field of ayurveda; and |
|
| (d) to construct, equip and maintain necessary buildings for the use of the Vidyalaya. |
