9.
(1) There shall be a Board of Trustees of the Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the "Board") consisting of such number of persons as may be provided for in the rules in force for the time being of the Corporation. |

(2) The first Board shall consist of the Board of Trustees of the Association holding office on the date of commencement of this Act. Where a vacancy occurs among the members of the Board hereafter, the remaining members of the Board shall fill such vacancy by electing a fit and proper person as a member of the Board. |

(3) No person shall be elected a member of the Board if he -
| | (a) is not a life-member of the Corporation, | | |
| | (b) has been a member of the Corporation for less than five years, | | |
| | (c) has been adjudged an insolvent by a competent court, | | |
| | (d) has been adjudged by a competent court of unsound mind, and | | |
| | (e) is less than forty years of age. | | |

(4) No act or decision of the Board she or be deemed to be invalid by reason only of any vacancy in the Board provided decision has been approved by not less than of the Board at a duly constituted meeting |

(5) No act of the Executive Committee shall be valid or effective for the purchase of any rights in the property or funds of for creating any liability or claim unless such act has been previously authorised by a general meeting of the Corporation and by a majority decision of the Board at a meeting of the Board: |
