Housing (Special Provisions) Law (No. 18 of 1974) - Sect 4

Regulations

4.
(1) The Minister may make regulations for the purpose of carrying out or giving elect to the principles and provisions of this Law.
(2) Every regulation made by the Minister shall be published in the Gazette and shall come into operation on the date of such publication or on such later date as may be specified in the regulation.
(3) Where regulations are made in respect of-- such regulations shall be made with the concurrence of the Minister in charge of the subject of Local Government.
(a) any premises provided by a local authority, or
(b) any premises provided by the Commissioner of Local Government,
(4) Every regulation shall, as soon as convenient after its publication in the Gazette, be Drought before the National State Assembly for approval. Any regulation which is not so approved shall be deemed to be rescinded from the date of its disapproval but without prejudice to anything previously done thereunder. Notification of the date on which any regulation made by the Minister is deemed to be rescinded shall be published in the Gazette.
