10.
(1) The Council of the Corporation shall cause proper books of accounts to be kept of the income and expenditure, debts and liabilities and all other financial transactions of the Corporation. |

(2) The accounts of the Corporation shall be audited by a qualified auditor appointed at the annual general meeting. |

(3) In this section " qualified auditor " means
| | (a) an individual who, being a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, or of any other Institute established by law, possesses a certificate to practise as an Accountant issued by the Council of such Institute; or | | |
| | (b) a firm of Accountants each of the resident partners of which, being a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka or of any other Institute established by law, possess a certificate to practise as an Accountant issued by the Council of such Institute. | | |
