Section 34 of the principal enactment is hereby amended in paragraph (a) of subsection (1) of that section by the substitution, for the words "and an additional five per centum of the taxable income of such company for such year of assessment; and ", of the words and figures" and in respect of the year of assessment commencing on April 1, 1979, and for each of the five years of assessment immediately succeeding that year of assessment, an additional five per centum of the taxable income of such company for such year of assessment; and ". |
