8. Section 17F of the principal enactment is hereby amended in paragraph (a) of subsection (3) of that section as follows : "
| (1) in sub-paragraph (i) of that paragraph by the substitution for the words and figure "section 3 (other than any profits and income from the sale of any capital asset) of that undertaking, ", of the words and figure "section 3 (other than any profits and income from that sale of any capital asset of from the purchase and resale of any of her good or commodities of that undertaking" and |

| (2) in sub-paragraph (i) of that paragraph by the substitution for the words," the annual average of such profits and income of that undertaking " ,of the words "the annual average of such profits and income as are referred to in sub-paragraph (1) of that undertaking". |
