Inland Revenue (Change Of Designations Of Certain Officers) Law (No. 19 of 1975) - Sect 2

Change of designations of Commissioner of Inland Revenue. Deputy Commissioner of Inland Revenue, and Assistant Commissioner of Inland Revenue

2. With effect from the appointed date, in every context in, which mention is made in any written law -or in any notice, communication, form or other document issued, made, required or authorized 'by or under any written law, of-
(a) the Commissioner of Inland. Revenue (whether by that designation or by the abbreviated designation of Commissioner) there shall be substituted for the words " Commissioner of Inland "Revenue ", the words " Commissioner--General of Inland Revenue and for the word Commissioner ", the word " Commissioner-General ";
(b) a Deputy Commissioner of Inland Revenue (whether by that designation or by the abbreviated- designation of Deputy Commissioner) there shall be substituted for the words Deputy Commissioner of Inland -Revenue the words Commissioner of Inland Revenue " and for the words "'Deputy Commissioner", the. word " Commissioner "; and
(c) an Assistant Commissioner of Inland Revenue (whether by that designation or by the abbreviated designation of Assistant Commissioner) there shall be substituted for the words " Assistant Commissioner of Inland Revenue ", the words Deputy Commissioner of Inland Revenue " and for the words "Assistant Commissioner-", the words Deputy Commissioner ".
