Local authorities elections (special provisions) Law (No. 24 of 1977) - Sect 136

Amendment of section 249 of the principal enactment

136. Section 249 of the principal enactment is hereby amended in subsection (1) of that section by the substitution for the definition of '' Chairman '' of the following definition:- ' " Chairman and Vice-Chairman " means respectively a Chairman and Vice-Chairman of an Urban Council elected in accordance with the provisions of written law for the time being applicable in that behalf.'.
