71. Section 66 of the principal enactment is hereby repealed and the following section substituted therefor :-

| | (1) Upon the declaration of the result of any election of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor and members of the local authority of an electoral area, the returning officer of that electoral area shall-
| | | (a) publish a notice specifying-
|
| (b) report the result through the elections officer of the district in which the area is situated to the Commissioner. |

| | (2) The Commissioner shall forth- with upon the receipt of the report of the result cause the names of the two candidates elected as Mayor and Deputy Mayor, and the names of the candidates elected as members to be published in the Gazette." | | |
