Local Government Service Act (No. 18 of 1969) - Sect 13

Certain enactments not to apply to the Commission and to members of the service

13.
(1) Nothing in the Wages Boards Ordinance shall apply or be construed or deemed to apply to or in relation to or in the case of any person who is a member of the service, notwithstanding that he is employed for the time being under a local authority in or in connection with any service or undertaking which partakes of the nature of a trade or industry.
(2) Nothing in the Industrial Disputes Act, or in the Employees' Provident Fund Act shall apply or be construed or deemed to apply to or in relation to the Commission in its capacity as employer or to or in relation to or in the case of any person who is a member of the service:
