Local Government Service Act (No. 18 of 1969) - Sect 17

Establishment of Widows' and Orphans' Pension Fund

17.
(1) There shall be established a Fund to be known as the Local Government Service Widows' and Orphans' Pension Fund for the payment of pensions to the widows and children of the pensionable members of the service.
(2) The widows' and orphans' pension fund or scheme established under the repealed Ordinance shall be deemed to be the Local Government Service Widows' and Orphans' Pension Fund established under this section.
