Licensing of Traders Act (No. 62 of 1961) - Sect 13

Certain officers deemed to be peace officers. Cap. 171. Cap. 173

13. Every person exercising any powers under the Food Control Act or under the Control of Prices Act or under this Act or under any regulation made under any of the aforesaid Acts shall be deemed to be peace officers within the meaning of the Criminal Procedure Code for the purpose of exercising any power conferred on peace officers by that Code.
