objects of the Act
2. The objects of this Act are to facilitate the provision of, and the obtaining by Sri Lanka of assistance in civil and commercial matters, including-
(a) the service of judicial and extra judicial documents;
(b) the examination of witnesses and the obtaining of evidence, documents and other articles;
