Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act (No. 25 of 2002) - Sect 7

Assistance in relation to locating and identifying persons

(1) Where the Central Authority receives a request from the appropriate authority of a specified country, for his assistance in locating a person who-

	(a) is suspected to be involved in ; or

	(b) is able to provide evidence or assistance in,

(2) Where there are reasonable grounds to believe that a person who-

	(a) is suspected to be involved in :or

	(b) is able to provide evidence or assistance in,

(3) A request under subsection (2), shall specify the purpose for which such assistance is required and shall provide any other information that may facilitate the identification or location of such person.
