Maternity Benefits (Amendment) Act (No. 52 of 1981) - Sect 2

2 Amendment of section 3 of Chapter 157, [ 2, 52 of 1981]

2. Section 3 of the Maternity Benefits Ordinance (hereinafter referred to as the " principal enactment") is hereby amended by the repeal of subsection (1) of that section, and the substitution therefor of the following subsection:"
"(1) The period for which any woman shall be entitled to the payment of maternity benefit shall be six weeks, that is to say, two weeks up to and including the day of her confinement and four weeks immediately following that day:
