| 10 Mahaweli Development Board Act, No. 14 of 1970 15. In a special area, the Board shall in addition, notwithstanding the provisions of Part XI of the Crown Lands Ordinance, be charged with the administration of that Ordinance and accordingly every reference in that Ordinance to the Land Commissioner or any officer of the Government entrusted with any duties in respect of Crown lands shall, for the purpose of the application of that Ordinance to such area, be deemed to include a reference to the Board or to any such officer of the Board as may be authorized by the Board for the purpose of that provision. |
