| (1) The trustee or trustees of a registered mosque may with the approval of the board sue for the recovery of any property vested in such trustee or trustees under section 16, or for the recovery of the possession of any such property, or for any other purpose connected with, or incidental to, the exercise and performance of the powers and duties of such trustee or trustees. |

| (2) The trustee of a registered mosque, whether he is the plaintiff or defendant in an action, shall not be personally liable in costs for any act bona fide done by such trustee in the exercise of the powers or the performance of the duties of such trustee. |
