3. Section 13 of the principal Act is hereby amended as follows : -
| (a) by the renumbering of that section as subsection (1) of section 13 ; |
|
| (b) in renumbered subsection (1) of that section by the substitution, for all the words from " the Minister may appoint" to the end of that subsection, of the words " the Judicial Service Commission may appoint a suitable person to act as a temporary Quazi for that area." ; and |
|
| (c) by the addition at the end of that section of the following new subsection : -
| | " (2) The Judicial Service Commission may by Order published in the Gazette delegate to the Secretary to the Commission the power to make appointments under subsection (1), subject to such limitations as may be specified in the Order. ". | | |
