Merchant Shipping Act (No. 52 of 1971) - Sect 1

Short title and date of operation

1. This Act may be cited as the Merchant Shipping Act, No. 52 of 1971, and shall come into operation on such date as the Minister may appoint by Order published in the Gazette. Different dates may be so appointed for the purposes of the different Parts or provisions of this Act.
