| 27. If any of the conditions contained in a licence granted under this Part is contravened, the master and the owner, or, in the case of a ship other than a Ceylon ship, the agent in Ceylon of the owner, of the ship in respect of which the contravention has taken place, shall be guilty of an offence and on conviction thereof shall be liable to imprisonment of either description for a term not exceeding one year, or to a fine not exceeding three thousand rupees, or to both such imprisonment and fine. |
