Merchant Shipping Act (No. 52 of 1971) - Sect 292

Conviction under other law

292. Nothing in this Act shall be deemed to prevent the prosecution, conviction and punishment of any person according to any other written law for the time being in force in Ceylon or any part thereof, so however that no person shall be punished more than once for the same offence.
