50. Section 126 of the principal enactment is hereby repealed and the following ; actions substituted therefor:

| | (1) Subject to the provisions of sub- sections (2) and (3), every driving licence issued under this Part shall be valid for such period as may be prescribed, and every such driving licence may be renewed for such period or periods, upon the payment of such fee, as may be prescribed. | | |
| | (2) A driving licence which is cancelled under the succeeding provisions of this Part shall cease to be effective on the date of cancellation thereof. | | |
| | (3) A driving licence which is suspended for any period under the succeeding provisions of this Pail shall not be effective during the period of such suspension. ", | | |
