57. Section 136 of the principal enactment is hereby amended by the repeal of subsection (5) of that section and the substitution therefor of the following subsection :
| " (5) Where the holder of a driving licence is convicted before any court of any offence under this Act or of any offence under any other written law committed in connexion with the driving of a motor vehicle, the court shall endorse upon the licence the particulars of the conviction and of any order made under this section and the date of such endorsement ; and every such endorsement shall be initialed by the Judge or Magistrate of the court, or in the case of a conviction by the High Court or Court of Appeal, by the Registrar of that court.". |
