17. The following new section is hereby inserted immediately after section 215A, and shall have effect as section 215B, of the principal enactment.
| 215B. Any person who contravenes the provisions of subsection (4) of section 137 of this Act, by driving a motor vehicle on a highway at any time while an order suspending or canceling his driving licence or declaring him to be disqualified for obtaining a licence, is in force, shall be guilty of an offence under this Act, and shall on conviction after summary trial before a Magistrate, be liable to imprisonment of either description for a term not exceeding six months.". |
