56.
| (1) The members, officers and servants of the tribunal shall be remunerated at such rates as may be determined by the Minister with the concurrence of the Minister of Finance. |

| (2) The remuneration of the members, officers and servants of the tribunal and any other expenses of the tribunal shall be paid by the Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Transport and Works out of the moneys provided for the purpose by Parliament. Such Permanent Secretary shall in writing notify to the Ceylon Transport Board all sums paid by him under this subsection, and the Ceylon Transport Board shall, upon receipt of such notification, pay the amount specified therein to the Deputy Secretary to the Treasury to be credited to the Consolidated Fund of Ceylon. |
