Section 26 of the principal enactment is hereby amended by the substitution, for the words, "from: the commission of the offence, or, where that person has been absent from Ceylon during such period, within one year after his return to Ceylon." of the words, " from the date of the discovery of the offence, or, where that person has been absent from Sri Lanka during such period, within one year after his return to Sri Lanka,". |
