| 67. In. this Act, unless the context otherwise requires-" agency of the Government " means any body, corporate or unincorporate, acting on behalf of the Government;" apprentice " means any person of either sex who is undergoing apprenticeship training under a contract of apprenticeship entered into under this Act;" employer " means any person who employs any other person to do work in any establishment for remuneration, and includes any person responsible for the supervision and control of employees in such establishment;" establishment " means any place where any industry, trade, business or profession is carried on;" Government-Sponsored Corporation " has the same meaning as in the Government-Sponsored Corporations Act;" local authority " means any Municipal Council, Urban Council, Town Council or Village Council;" member " means a member of the Board;" representative member " means a member of any class or description referred to in paragraphs (b) to (f) of sub-section (1) of section 9. |
