21.The Authority in consultation with the Council shall, with the assistance of the Ministry of the Minister in charge of the subject of Forestry, recommend to the Minister a system of
| (a)
| | (i) rational exploitation of forest resources,
| | |
| | (ii) regulation of the marketing of threatened forest resources,
| | |
| | (iii) conservation of threatened species of flora, and shall encourage citizen participation therewith to keep the country's forest resources at maxi mum productivity at all times ;
| | |
|
|
| (b) promoting a continuing effort on reforestation, timber stand improvement, forest protection, land classification, forest occupancy management, industrial transplantation, parks and wildlife management, multiple use forest, timber management and forest research. |
