National Environmental Act (No. 47 of 1980) - Sect 29

This Act to prevail over other written law

29.The provisions of this Act shall have effect not withstanding anything to the contrary in the provisions of any other written law, and accordingly in the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the provisions of this Act and the provisions of such other written law, the provisions of this Act shall prevail over the provisions of such other written law.
