| (1) The amendment made to the principal enactment by section 2 of this Act shall be deemed, for all purposes, to have come into operation on June 1, 1985. |

| (2) Any act done by the Director-General of Teaching Hospitals from and after June 1, 1985 and before the commencement of this Act shall be deemed not have been, or to be, invalid by reason only of the fact that such Director-General was not empowered by the principal enactment to do such act. |
