National Housing Development Authority (Amendment) Act (No. 20 of 1988) - Sect 2

Insertion of new section 73A in Act No. 17 of 1979

2.The following new section is hereby inserted immediately after section 73 of the National Housing Development Authority Act, No.17 of 1979 (hereinafter referred to as "the principal enactment") and shall have effect as section 73A of the principal enactment:
" Transfer to the Authority of all assets &c., of the Department of National Housing.
73A. All such
(a)assets (including immovable property) vested in the Department of National Housing on the day immediately preceding the appointed date; and
(b)contracts and agreements entered into, by or with, the Department of National Housing and subsisting on the clay immediately preceding the appointed date,
