National Institute Of Plantation Management (Amendment) Act (No. 76 of 1981) - Sect 2

Amendment of section 6 of Act No. 45 of 1979

2. Section 6 of the National Institute of Plantation Management Act, No. 45 of 1979, (hereinafter referred to as the " principal enactment") is hereby amended in sub section (1) of that section, by the substitution, for paragraph (b) of that subsection, of the following paragraph:
" (b) the following ex officio members namely
(i) the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Tea Board;
(ii) the Director of the Rubber Research Institute ;
(iii) the Director of the Coconut Research Board;
(iv) the Chairman of the Tea Small Holdings Development Authority;
(v) the Director of the Tea Research Institute;
(vi) the Director of the Institute; and
(vii) a representative from any of the Universities nominated by the University Grants Commission;".
