(1) Where a reference of a claim for an award as to title in respect of any nindagama land is made to the Board, the Board shall, after considering all such matters and hearing all such witnesses as may be necessary for the purpose, and having due regard to any such regulations made under this Act as may be applicable in that behalf, make a decision in respect of such claim, and give notice of its decision to any such claimant. |

(2) Subject to the other provisions of this Act, where the Board makes a decision on any reference of a claim for an award as to title in respect of any nindagama land, and no appeal is preferred against such decision as hereinafter provided, the decision shall be final and conclusive. |
