Amendment of the Urban Councils Ordinance (Chapter 255)

4. The Urban Councils Ordinance is hereby amended as follows: -

(1) in section 55, by the substitution for paragraph (3), of the following paragraph: -

	" (3) to paint up the names of streets and the numbers of houses or tenements on any private property; "; and

(2) by the insertion, immediately after section 55, of the following new section which shall have effect as section 55A: -

	55A. The Minister shall, either of his own motion or on application made in that behalf by an Urban Council, determine the name by which any street shall be known and in like manner at any time alter the name of any street."
