Powers of the Minister in relation to the Board

17.
(1) The Minister may, after consultation with the Board, give to the Board general or special directions in writing as to the transaction of the business of the Bank and the Board shall give effect to such directions.
(2) The Minister may, from time to time, direct in writing the Board to furnish him such information with respect to the business of the Bank as he may require and the Board shall carry out every such direction.
