National Science Council of Sri Lanka Law (No. 36 of 1975) - Sect 8

Term of office of the members of the Council

8.
(1) Every appointed member of the Council shall, unless he earlier vacates office by death, resignation or removal, hold office for a period of three years.
(2) Every ex officio member shall hold office as long as he holds the post by virtue of which he was appointed as a member.
