3. The general objects far which the Corporation is constituted are hereby declared to be -
| (a) to promote the study of the Science of nutrition; |
|
| (b) to be the representative organization of the nutrition scientists of Sri Lanka; |
|
| (c) to sponsor and organise the holding in Sri Lanka of national and international conferences; |
|
| (d) to promote and disseminate nutrition knowledge at all levels; |
|
| (e) to secure, provide and manage funds and endowments far the promotion of the science of nutrition and nutrition education; |
|
| (f) to advise the State on matters pertaining to nutrition; and |
|
| (g) to do all such other acts and thing as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objects or any of them. |
