| 6. Any person who dishonestly commandeers, receives, retains or transports any ship or property taken or appropriated by the commission of an offence under section 3 or section 4 of this Act shall be guilty of an offence, under this Act and shall on conviction be liable, subject to the provisions of sections 8, 9 and 10, of this Act, to imprisonment of either description for a term not exceeding three years and to a fine not exceeding one million rupees or the value of the property in respect-of which the offence is committed, whichever is the greater. |
