Amendment of section of Chapter 383

2. Section 23 of the Parliament (Powers and Privileges) Act (hereinafter referred to as the" principal enactment "), is hereby amended in subsection (1) of that section by the substitution in paragraph (b) for the words to a fine not exceeding five thousand rupees ", of the words to a fine ".
