People's Committees Act (No. 16 of 1971) - Sect 6

Term of office of members of the Committee

6.
(1) Every member of the Committee shall, unless he earlier vacates office by death, resignation or removal by the Minister, hold office for a period of two years from the date of appointment:
(2) Any member of the Committee who vacates office by effluxion of time shall be eligible for reappointment.
