Primary Courts' Procedure Act (No. 44 of 1979) - Sect 42

Summons to issue

42. Upon such plaint being filed as aforesaid the Primary Court shall appoint a day for the appearance of the defendant, and shall in inform the plaintiff thereof ; and shall also issue a summons for the appearance of the defendant.
