Parliamentary Elections (Amendment) Act (No. 15 of 1988) - Sect 24

Insertion of section 129 A in the principal enactment

24. The following section is hereby inserted immediately after section 129, and shall have effect, as section 129A of the principal enactment-
129A. Every reference in this Act to an electoral district shall, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Act, be deemed to include a reference to a sons into which an electoral district has been divided, under the provisions of the Constitution, and the provisions of this Act shall be construed accordingly".
