| 2. From and after the date of commencement of this Act, the Provincial of the Marist Brothers in Sri Lanka to wit, the very Reverend Brother Uswatte Liyanage John Clifferd Jayantha Perera and his respective successors in office, duly appointed according to the laws and usages of the Roman Catholic Church, shall be a body corporate (hereinafter referred to as the " Corporation ") under the name and style of " The Provincial of the Marist Brothers ", with perpetual succession and full power to acquire, purchase, take, hold and enjoy movable and immovable property of every description and to sell or otherwise dispose of the same, and by that name, may sue and be sued in respect of such property in all courts. |
