Petroleum Resources Act (No. 26 of 2003) - Sect 7

Restrictions on conduct of Petroleum operations

7. No person shall conduct petroleum operations in Sri Lanka unless such person has entered into a Resources Agreement or any other appropriate Agreement with the State or is otherwise authorized by or under this Act to conduct petroleum operations.
